About Me:

With my first child I gained 70 pounds. This took my weight to 208 pounds. I kept this weight on for about 1 year, until I made the decision that I was not going to live that way anymore. I taught myself step aerobics and adopted healthier eating habits. I began to lose weight. This increased my confindence, and peaked my interest in pursuing fitness further. About 6 months later and 40 pounds lighter I became a Certified Group Fitness Instructor. Over the past 15 years of teaching fitness I have continued my healthful living with great benefits! It has increased my energy, mind power, and self confidence! 13 years ago I became a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer in hopes of helping other people achieve their personal fitness goals as well. In addition to my extensive fitness training, I hold a Master's Degree in Biology, and teach College Biology.
